Clover and STEM Day – St. Patrick’s Celebration & Lego Robotics Event

Going beyond the legends and the folklore, we will learn about St. Patrick and his powerful impact as a missionary in Ireland in the fifth century. Students are encouraged to wear green! Following that, we are partnering with Deijanee Handy and her team from the Boys and Girls Club to put on a fun and educational Lego Robotics event right at our school! Students will engage with large LEGO sets that combine a selection of technological components with familiar LEGO bricks and minifigures.  This playful learning experience will inspire our students to create a robot that reflects their interests and creativity with speech, songs, sounds, lights, movements, and interactions.
